Eina's privacy policy

The data that users provide via this website (by sending an e-mail, using the different forms, subscribing to our newsletter, etc.) will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and used exclusively to manage their request. EINA will store the personal data that are voluntarily provided to it on a file owned by it which has been registered in the Register of the Catalan Data Protection Agency. EINA has adopted the necessary technical measures in accordance with current regulations in order to prevent their alteration, loss and unauthorised treatment or access.

Similarly, EINA has defined a data protection and privacy policy, which must be observed by all the personnel in its service and by its collaborators, which also sets out their obligation of maintaining confidentiality and professional secrecy. Subscription to our newsletter or sending any type of information will be carried out in accordance with the applicable current regulations and users will be able to cancel their subscription at any time simply and at no cost.

Students enrolling at our school will have to complete the appropriate enrolment form, and once approved, applicants will be able to benefit from the status of EINA student and will be subject to the school's working regulations and to the following privacy policy: The student's data will be treated confidentially and will be part of a file, owned by EINA, used to process the enrolment, manage their academic record, the job bank and the practicals, and foster their participation in competitions or grants. All mailings will be carried out in accordance with the applicable current regulations and users will be able to cancel their subscription at any time simply and at no cost.

The recipients of the data will be EINA, the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the UAB Postgraduate School, in the case of postgraduate courses, and the public and private agencies that are necessary to fulfil the above aims or because it is required by law. Similarly, EINA may provide information about course attendance to the father, mother, guardian or representatives of the student that appear on the enrolment document.

Through different media, supports or formats, its own and in some cases of third parties, EINA publishes and disseminates its students' works and Final Degree Projects (PFC) and Final Degree Work (TFG) and their institutional e-mail address (@eina.edu), as well as photographs of the school or of events in which an image of yours may appear, with the aim of promoting the students and the quality of EINA courses and of fostering the dissemination of design and art. With the same aims, EINA assigns this material and these images to third parties (companies, organisations or competitions related to art and design). These activities do not entail a right to remuneration or a financial profit for the student. Likewise, sending material or images by the student to the EINA Publications Department is completely voluntary and only if it is done is it equivalent to the express authorisation and acceptance by the student of this section. Should the student authorise publication, they must submit the material to the EINA Publications Department in person or using its institutional e-mail address (@eina.cat).

In accordance with the Constitutional Data Protection Act 15/1999, of 13 December 1999, students have the right of access, rectification, opposition and cancellation by writing to EINA, Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art de Barcelona - Passeig de Santa Eulàlia, 25 (08017) Barcelona, enclosing a photocopy of their National Identity Document.
