He graduated in industrial design from the Universitat de Belles Arts of the UB. He studied the last specialisation year of industrial design at the Politecnico di Milano.
In 2003, he was awarded the diploma as Draughtsman in Solid Works by the C.I.M centre and the C.A.P (Teaching Aptitude Course) awarded by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He is currently studying for a Master's in Artistic Productions and Design Research to be able to study for a doctorate.
He is a teacher of Product Design IT on the Eina Design Degree and associate lecturer at the Universitat de Belles Arts of the Universitat de of Barcelona, where he teaches the Packing and Packaging Design and Techniques and Technologies (projects) second-cycle subjects.
He has participated as a speaker at a number of courses and conferences on products relating to the optimisation of the architectural space, including the UPC-EAV Technical Conference, “Cycle of Lectures of the Universidad de Arquitectura de Granada” and the “Second Asemaste Conference”.
Professional / Research Activity
After working with the industrial design offices of Ignasi Paré and Josep Teruel, he joined Sistemas Bal as Design Department manager (2003), a company with which he still works.
In 2005, he was one of the founders of Estudio Magari, and finally, in 2007, he founded the multidisciplinary design studio Nieto&Ventura with Javier Nieto.
He has published design projects in specialist books and magazines, including Tectónica, On Diseño, Nan, Oficinas and Casa Barcelona.
