Anna Pujadas i Matarín

Sabadell, 1967.

Graduate in History of Art (1990) and in Philosophy (1992) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Doctor in History of Art (1998), also from the UAB. She was awarded accreditation as a junior lecturer by the AQU (Agency for the Quality of the Catalan University System) in 2006.


She is a teacher of History and Theory of Design on the Design Degree at the Centre Universitari EINA de Barcelona (2002) and teacher of History of Art at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (2000). She is also a teacher on the Interdisciplinary Master in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media at the Estudis de Comunicació Audiovisual de la UPF (2007).

Professional / Research Activity

Since 1994 she has been a member of the research group based at the UPF into Theory and Critique of the Plastic Arts directed by the professor in the Theory of Art, Antoni Marí. As a researcher, she has taken part in international conferences and has spent time abroad. The last conference in which she took part was the Tenth International Human-Computer Interaction Conference, at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (2009). Her last foreign stay was at the Faculty of Design of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar thanks to an Erasmus Teacher Mobility grant from the UAB (2007).
